The Technology Behind Our Leak Detection

  • Advanced European acoustic leak detection equipment with high sensitivity that can locate leaks even 1–5+ feet deep.

  • Thermal imaging to identify hot or cold water leaks when temperature differences allow for faster detection.

  • Leak correlators used for main lines, which send signals between two points on the pipe and calculate the leak location acoustically without shutting the water off.

  • Tracer gas technology, which is a very fine molecular gas safely injected into the system. Because of how small the molecules are, the gas can pass through flooring, soil, or wall materials and be detected with specialized equipment to locate leaks in situations where other methods may be difficult.
